Hot dip galvanized steel
The hot-dip galvanizing process involves passing steel through a molten zinc bath, while the electroplating galvanizing process involves applying zinc through electrolytic treatment. The result is that the zinc layer is tightly adhered to the base metal through an iron zinc bonding layer.
